You have indeed constructed an example where the BF and ECR methods produce the same ultimate for your latest AY and the conditions you listed in your answer seem to be <u>sufficient</u>. These conditions may not all be necessary however. I tried changing some of the numbers in your triangle to alter the stability of the development but the BF ECR methods still produced the same answer.
